Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

100% Refund

Qualifies for: Complete refund excluding handling charges

Processing Duration: 5-7 business days

Service fee: €50 for card payments

Prerequisites: Must be sought officially through email or telephone communication

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Qualifies for: Half of the total cost of the charter

Processing Duration: 7-10 business days

Service fee: €25 substracted from the reimbursement sum

Prerequisites: A legitimate justification is needed; administrative costs in effect

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Qualifies for: No reimbursement possible

Exception: Critical situations may be taken into account

Alternative Option: Management might offer a credit note for the charter

Prerequisites: Supporting proof required for exigency claims

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Our primary concern is safety. Should the weather conditions be considered perilous for sailing by our certified captain, we present various alternatives:

  • Complete Refund: Issued if rescheduling isn’t an option
  • Reschedule: Change your booking to a subsequent available slot without extra charge
  • Charter Credit: Obtain a voucher valid for one year from the date of the initial charter

Weather Assessment Process

Our assessment of weather conditions includes:

  • Evaluating wind speed and diretion
  • Inspecting wave height and oceanic conditions
  • Forecasting visibility and precipitation levels
  • Heeding Coast Guard advisories and signals
  • Captain’s safety review based on expertise

Decision Making Timeframe: Determinations regarding weather cancellations are taken at most 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Conditions

We empathize with the sudden onset of medical crises. The following circumstances may warrant extraordinary consideration:

  • Unanticipated disease or injury that leads to hospital admittance
  • Passing of an immediate family member
  • Call to duty or unforeseen reassignment for military personnel
  • Compulsory jury service or legal subpoenas
  • Catastrophic events hindering travel

Proof Requirements

For processing of emergency refunds, the following evidentiary documents must be provided:

  • A verified medical statement or hospital records
  • Death notice (if relevant)
  • Authorized military directives
  • Subpoena or jury notice
  • Emergency bulletins or official travel restrictions

Procedure: Refunds due to emergencies are managed within 3-5 business days after submission of necessary evidence.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Failures

If the vessel designated to you is beset with irreparable mechanical faults:

  • Alternate Boat: We aspire to furnish a similar substitute
  • Complete Refund: Granted if no adequate substitute is accessible
  • Partial Refund: Issued if the alternate vessel has a different fee structure
  • Compensation: Supplementary reimbursement may be offered to compensate the inconvenience experienced

Unavailability of Crew

In the uncommon instance that a certified crew is unavailable:

  • An alternative crew will be provided if viable
  • Complete refund if the charter cannot be fulfilled
  • Option to reschedule with no extra costs incurred

Refund Mechanism

Reimbursements are executed using the same financial medium employed for the initial transaction:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

Bank Wire Processing

€25 charge for all bank wire reversals

Charter Credits

Criteria for Credit Issuance

Credits for future charters might be proposed as an alternative to reimbursements under specific conditions:

  • Delayed cancellations (within 24 hours of the event)
  • Cancellations due to inclement weather
  • Voluntary rescheduling requests
  • Interruptions in operation

Credit Specifications

  • Validity: 12 months from the issuance date
  • Transferrability: Credits cannot be handed over to other individuals
  • Value: The entire worth of the charter devoid of handling charges
  • Application: May be allocated to any upcoming bookings
  • Expiry: Extensions beyond the 12-month timeframe are not permissible

Partial Service Refunds

Disruptions in Service

In the event your outing is disrupted or curtailed due to factors we control:

  • Reimbursement in proportion to the unused period
  • Voucher equal in value for your next rental
  • Free additional services or upgrades

Refusal Due to Guest Conduct

If an outing is prematurely ceased due to the actions or safety infractions of the guests:

  • No reimbursement for the remainder of the service
  • Full payment is still required
  • Potential surcharges may be applicable

Conflict Resolution

In the case of disagreement over a refund verdict, various courses of action are available to you:

  • Solicit a reassessment by our administrative team
  • Provide further documentation or substantiation
  • Seek mediation from consumer advocacy entities
  • Engage in legal recourse consistent with the governing law

Our team will acknowledge your application within a day, assess it on the basis of this document, convey a verdict within 48 hours, and implement sanctioned refunds in the times outlined previously.
